eTask: Locate print sources in the library.
Vocabulary: Online Card Catalog = Destiny, Call Number, Keyword vs. Subject, Index, Table of Contents

LOCATE PRINT BOOKS using DESTINY
Use Destiny, our online card catalog, to locate books in our library based on keyword or subject.  Remember, subject narrows your search to what the book is actually about, and keyword broadens your search to locate the word within the book's record in Destiny.

Be sure to note the call number when you go to look for the book on the shelf. It corresponds to the little label at the bottom of the book's spine. The call number is very important! It tells you where the book is located on the shelves using the Dewey Decimal System.
